You can download the Reader at the following Link: The SOWER is the official newsletter of the Office for Catechesis and Youth Ministry, Archdiocese of Chicago. It’s purpose is to develop connections with catechetical leaders by publishing information about catechetical issues, events and news at the local, archdiocesan and broader levels of the Church. It is published quarterly. Each issue is 16 pages: 8 for Catechesis, a four-page "insert" titled "New Connections" (Jegen Center newsletter), and a Youth Ministry Newsletter.. The Sower includes the Fostering Faith Inserts that were formerly published in Seeds of Faith, a discontinued periodical of the OFC. These inserts may be duplicated for catechist formation. It is sent free of charge to all pastors, Pastoral associates, current parish catechetical leaders and youth ministers (others: $10.00 per volume year...subscriptions are due September 15 each year). 250 copies are also sent to the pastoral center.
