	The eleventh annual Catechetical Awards Banquest took place on May 16, 2006. Frank and Rosalind discuss the awards that were given this year and highlight some of the awardees.
	During the first week of May, the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership held its seventieth annual meeting in Chicago. Both Ros and Frank attended and give their viewpoints on the event. Interviews with two catechetical leader attendees - Sr. Mary Ann Yanz and Leslie Krauledis - were taped during the conference and are included in this report.
	Ss. Faith, Hope and Charity Parish, Winnetka, Illinois, received the Mustard Seed Award from the NPCD (professional association of parish catechetical directors) which is part of the NCEA. Pamela Coster, Susan Doubet, and Jim Breault describe the parent involvement in the parish catechetical program which was recognized in the award.
