Parishes are organized into Deaneries. Deaneries are
geographical sub-groups of each of the six Vicariates of the Archdiocese of Chicago. Each Vicariate is led by a Vicar, who is one of the Auxiliary Bishops of
the Archdiocese. Deaneries are headed by Deans, usually one of the pastors of a parish in
that group.
The Office for Catechesis has Coordinators for each of the
six Vicariates, who help the Vicars and Deans to understand and lead the catechetical
processes taking place in their areas.
If you know your Vicariate and Deanery, select from the
menu to the left to see the list of parishes in your Deanery and the Vicariate
Catechetical Coordinator who is working with those parishes.
